During my recent visit to Blantyre, there was no local coffee in the shelves.
I’ve never experienced a coffee shortage in Blantyre.
I assume there’s not one reason but multiple reasons.
First, it’s not the season for new beans. Off season.
Secondly, I believe because of the lower coffee harvest in Brazil and higher prices, more coffee beans went into export.
